Easy Avocado Sushi









1/2 Avocado (sliced)

1 Seaweed Sheet

1/2 frozen package of Trader Joe’s Organic Brown Rice

Materials: Plastic wrap

1) Put frozen brown rice in small pot on medium heat until warmed and set aside

2) Lay seaweed sheet on plastic wrap. Scoop some brown rice and mash down gently on the seaweed sheet until the sheet is covered in thin layer of rice. Each rice package can make two rolls of sushi.


3) Gently lift up sheet with rice and flip over on the same plastic wrap so that the exposed seaweed is facing up. Place avocado in a straight line close to the side you are going to start rolling.










4) Once you have added the avocado evenly, use the plastic wrap to pull up on the side closest to you and start rolling the sheet around the avocado. Once you’re at the end, and only if needed, gently roll the sushi roll back and forth to make sure it has a round shape.









5) While the plastic wrap is still around the roll, take a very sharp knife and cut the roll in half, and then halve the sections until you have good bite-sized rolls.
